The YOUNGreen project was created to promote and insert unemployed youths with low qualifications into the labour market through green entrepreneurship and the circular economy.

This project will expose the possibilities open to young people who want to develop their own ideas and launch their own businesses in the green economy sector.

During this project, a training course will be developed, with the main emphasis on improving the professional skills of youth educators and technicians, through the use of an innovative methodology within the scope of EntreComp.

Also, a guide was created for young entrepreneurs who are starting out in the business world and have limited work experience. Innovative business ideas have the ability to solve critical environmental problems and change young people's vision towards a green and prosperous economy, once they are implemented within the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The best solutions will come from within these young people.

Green businesses are vital to a development model where the planet is a priority, because they save precious resources, support the maintenance of healthy ecosystems, reduce pollution and waste, limit greenhouse gas emissions and provide green goods and services to enable more responsible consumption patterns.

Furthermore, green businesses serve as a catalyst for entrepreneurs to make a meaningful contribution to society in terms of the economy, generating jobs, protecting the health of consumers and communities, and providing much-needed green resources such as renewable energy to power other businesses.
